The kick-off meeting of the project PassionES-L was held on the 28th – 29th of November 2019 in Palermo (Italy). The project is funded by Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 Strategic Partnerships for School Education.

The project involves eight partners from four different countries among which the Centre for Creative Development Danilo Dolci.

All partners have a wide experience in EU projects and training of School Education. Partners met in Palermo to talk about the project and they agreed on methodologies and activitis for the next months.

The main aim is to create an innovative integrated school educational approach which will improve inclusiveness of pupils at risk of early school leaving in the partners schools through testing a new inclusiveness model named PASSION introducing therapeutic methods into educational activities and using ITC tools and digital content. It will be tested during the project through implementation in all school partners with a pilot sample of learners. After proving its impact, it supposes the model can be implemented at large scale, inside and beyond the partnership.

Among the project outcomes we have:

IO1: Therapeutic educational activities for ESL inclusiveness. Handbook for teachers

IO2: E-learning platform and interactive therapeutic educational resources.

The ProFiLE project lasts 36 months and it is coordinated by Irene Ippolito on behalf of the Centre for Creative Development “Danilo Dolci”.
