BIENNIAL SUSTAIN 2015 INVITATION
Center for creative training invites to attend the 3 day event Sustain Biennial 2015 in October in Sofia, Bulgaria, on the topic “Human rights and democracy”. The participating countries will be Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania and Italy.
Water is freedom: the Jato dam experience
52 years ago, on the 27th February 1963, after tens of mobilisations by Danilo Dolci and his collaborators, the building works of a dam on the Jato River began. Together with the Democratic Consortium who managed water, it became one of the symbols of the fighting for rights and justice in western Sicily.
