Crisis Hack is the digital STEM competition for a better future, covering all materials developed for the CRIS project and the presentation of schools’ own projects developed on the theme of crisis management, using entrepreneurship and Growth Mindset, augmented and virtual reality, and 3D printing technologies.
Firstly, schools were selected at the national level where at the team level they discovered the themes of the CRIS project. In the following months, the best national team was chosen and had opportunities to participate in the final event where schools competed in an innovation competition held on site to determine the winner, runner-up and also to conduct a non-formal evaluation of the thinking content.

The final event was held in Palermo on June 15 and 16, and four teams from Slovenia, Greece, and the United Kingdom were part of the competition. Their task was to find the solution for teacher Maria who works in a school near volcano that is often active, and in such cases the school remains closed.
With excellent knowledge of Growth mindset, AR, VR and 3D printing the students found the solutions, created their own prototypes and presented their own ideas. The jury composed of the project partners voted on each idea based on the established criteria. The winning team was from the UK and received the 3D printer as their prize.
