At a time of global economic uncertainty, European Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) faced extraordinary challenges due to the crisis resulting from the COVID-19 emergency. The pandemic has accelerated the urgent need to embrace digital transformation as a key element for business continuity.
In response to this evolving challenge, the Centre for Creative Development “Danilo Dolci” is offering the new LEVEL UP course, designed to provide European SMEs with the tools they need to successfully navigate the digital landscape of the 21st century. The course is available on the Centre’s Inventing the Future educational platform, and developed as part of the LEVEL UP project, which offers training programs on a variety of topics, such as cybersecurity, data analytics, artificial intelligence and more. The first course, “Introduction to Microcontrollers through Arduino,” is already available and covers the fundamentals of programming and building circuits through the creation of small projects.
The training program can be used online at any time and is 4 hours in length, in which three teaching units unfold:
- Introduction to Microcontrollers;
- Creation of a streetlight using TinkerCad;
- Circuit and code improvement through hands-on challenges.
The training objectives involve learning the fundamentals of microcontrollers and programming basic-level circuits using block-coding.
Through the platform, participants can access quality content developed by industry experts, enriching their digital skills and preparing for the challenges of the modern corporate world. The goal is to create a dynamic and inclusive educational environment where SMEs can access learning resources while remaining competitive in a constantly changing market.
