The course of the OCCAY project to promote online career guidance by improving the digital skills of career counsellors will soon be available.
From 26 to 28 October, the project partners’ testing of the OCCAY course took place at the CSC Danilo Dolci premises in Palermo. OCCAY will provide educational and career counsellors and institutions with a high-quality, secure and professional digital platform where they can take part in an online course with a modular system based on the digital competence framework (DigComp 2.0) and 72 units in total.
The modules are flexible in the areas of information & data literacy, communication & collaboration, digital content creation, safety and problem solving, so they can be attended independently in order to meet your individual learning needs. The content is based on the suitability for everyday use and the practical relevance in career guidance.
The modules are structured as follows:
- Communication and collaboration tools
- Apps for career guidance
- Application 4.0
- Online counselling
- Digital health literacy
- Self-help empowerment
The curriculum is based on the standards of the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training ECVET and counts as 3 ECVET credits.
OCCAY- ONLINE CAREER COUNSELLING ACADEMY is financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union Erasmus + under Key Action 2, Cooperation partnerships in vocational education and training. OCCAY aims to develop an inclusive and modular tool that builds on the lessons of the pandemic and makes education and training more suitable for the digital age.
