The journey to support and aid beginner teachers, initiated with On the Way to Excellence is a success! Through this significant initiative, together with partner associations in Greece and Poland, we have developed an innovative training program to assist newly hired teachers in navigating the complexities of entering this profession.
The materials produced will remain available on our website for all who wish to learn more about the proposed modules and the methodologies they include. The developed materials have been published and are now accessible in all project languages:
- Training Program: a training path consisting of five different modules designed to provide tools for teachers who face challenges in classroom management;
- Evaluation Report: a document based on surveys administered to participants of the pilot training, analyzing the findings through various educational experiences across the participating countries.
This two-year initiative has been crucial in identifying key solutions for teachers facing challenges. The insights gained during this period with the partnership were shared in Warsaw on April 10, 2024, where the final conference of the project was held, attended by more than 200 individuals involved in education.
The conference was not only a valuable opportunity to present the program to a broad audience but also allowed participants to hear from educational professionals in Poland and to exchange views and perspectives on the challenges faced by teaching staff in the classroom.
If you are a teacher looking to strengthen your skills, check out the resources we have designed for you on our website.
ON THE WAY TO EXCELLENCE – BEGINNER TEACHER SUPPORT PROGRAM is an Erasmus+ project funded by the KA2 Cooperation Partnership in Adult Education programme, which intends to support newly hired teachers in acquiring useful tools for class management.
