The RESET – Building Resilience in Basic Education project’s online training on resilience in adult education has successfully concluded. If you are an adult educator or teacher and you missed it, you can still receive and test the project’s Curriculum and Toolbox exercises with your students!
In April the project partners organised a three-day online training where around 20 adult educators from Italy, Greece, Austria and Germany came together to discuss the products of the RESET project.
In the first session we talked about the importance of resilience and self-care in adult education. On the second and third day, we dealt with the teaching and learning materials created within the project.
The first of these to be presented was the Curriculum: six modules, with different units within, based on storytelling and the promotion of a different area of resilience (Emotions and affects, Stress management, Self-analysis, Social skills, Creativity and Self-efficacy).
The units contain exercises to challenge your students to discover new or existing skills and roles. Divided into several language levels, the modules can be integrated into your lessons in full, in part, or adapted to suit your learners’ needs.
The same can be done with the 80 exercises of the Toolbox, which are divided into the six areas of resilience and ten basic skills (literacy, numeracy, IT, workplace integration, soft skills, etc.).
If you are an adult educator and would like to receive the Curriculum and/or Toolbox to read or try out with your students, please write to alessandro.bosco@danilodolci.org.
This way you will take part in the national testing of the project products. Your feedback will be an important input for their finalisation!
RESET is a 25-month project funded by the Erasmus+ programme (11/2019 – 11/2021) that aims to develop and evaluate innovative methodologies and toolkits for promoting resilience in basic education.
