Which tools can support youth workers in preventing radicalism and marginalization among young people?
How to transmit to the young people the shared values of liberty, tolerance and democracy?
From the 11th to the 18th June 2017 the training course SALAAM – preventing the rise of radicalism and islamophobia through art has gathered 32 participants (27 youth workers, 3 trainers and 2 support staff) in order to talk and discuss on the topics of the prevention of the phenomena of radicalism and islamophobia through art and other innovative and non-formal methodologies
The following public report describes the activities e methodologies used and the results of the training course. In addition to a short description of the project contents, the document summarizes specific activities implemented during the training. The Public report is an effective tool for youth workers to implement similar activities and organize training at local level on the topic of the prevention of radicalism and of the fight against islamophobia.
SALAAM – preventing the rise of radicalism and islamophobia through art is a project funded by the Erasmus + programme – Key Action 1: mobility of youth workers.
