The project EDEC – Extending and Developing adult Educators’ Competences is almost concluded and the project partnership has published the “Report on the Results of the training pilot course and Conclusions”, summing up the latest project activities. The report focuses on the analysis of the training pilot course in which adult educators from different countries got involved. The training pilot course was based on the contents of the previous training manual.

The main aim of the report is to illustrate the various phases of the training course carried out in the online format due to the health emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Going from the early preparation stages to the final evaluation ones, the report aims to provide useful guidelines to all those professionals in the field of education who find themselves in reinventing teaching courses in the new online format.

Specifically, the EDEC training pilot course received excellent feedbacks from the participants in all the three countries involved in the project (Italy, Poland and United Kingdom), detecting a clear improvement in skills and knowledge. For this reason, the EDEC training pilot course can be considered as a good practice to follow and replicate.

In addition, the report presents the final conclusions of the EDEC project, highlighting a series of useful recommendations directed to professionals in the field of education (whether they approach the subject for the first time or have many years of experience in the field).
