Would you like to have the chance to challenge other chefs in an International competition? Are you a <strong>video-maker<\/strong> who would like to shoot a documentary about Sicilian culinary traditions? Are you a nutritionist or an expert in food communication, besides you would like to add to your CV an experience in the most prestigious Euro-Mediterranean institutions in this field? The project <a href=\"http:\/\/danilodolci.org\/patrimonio-culturale\/slowmed\/\"><strong>SlowMed<\/strong><\/a>, aimed at stressing the role of Mediterranean Diet as a means of intercultural dialogue, offers you the opportunity to do that.<\/p>\n<p>Through the multiple stages of this race ending by December 2015, participants will be able to improve their specific skills, by gathering important experiences that would mark their professional future.<\/p>\n<p>SlowMed\u2019s path will feature:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>a cooking competition <\/strong>with the other partner countries (Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Portugal and Spain);<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 two <strong>International events in Egypt and in Portugal; <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 a <strong>research<\/strong> on Mediterranean Diet related traditions and the dissemination of its results at a local level;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>video-shooting<\/strong> of a <strong>documentary <\/strong>on local and regional cooking traditions;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the <strong>release of a book of recipe<\/strong> conceived for alimentary education.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for <strong>10 experts <\/strong>that will make part of our local working group:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 professional chefs<\/li>\n<li>2 amateur chefs<\/li>\n<li>2 film makers<\/li>\n<li>2 scene directors<\/li>\n<li>1 nutritionist<\/li>\n<li>1 food communication expert<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>All the project activity costs will be fully covered, international journeys included. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications <\/strong>must be submitted <strong>before June 15<sup>th<\/sup> 2014. <\/strong>The interviews will be carried out by June at Centro per lo Sviluppo Creativo Danilo Dolci in via Roma 94, Palermo.<\/p>\n<p>Please send your application, along with your CV and a cover letter in English at cristoforo.spinella@danilodolci.org.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/media\/ENPI-logo.jpg\" alt=\"ENPI logo\" width=\"630\" height=\"134\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for 10 experts for SlowMed local working group: chefs, film makers, scene directors, food communication expert, nutritionist.
