{"id":10089,"date":"2015-05-21T12:40:48","date_gmt":"2015-05-21T10:40:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/?p=2924"},"modified":"2015-05-21T12:40:48","modified_gmt":"2015-05-21T10:40:48","slug":"boemi-kick-off-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/en\/education\/boemi-kick-off-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"BOEMI has started with music, Reciprocal Maieutic Approach and new media"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/media\/sites\/5\/boemi-kick-off.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2925 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/media\/sites\/5\/boemi-kick-off-300x200.png\" alt=\"BOEMI has started with music, Reciprocal Maieutic Approach and new media\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>From the 26<sup>th<\/sup> of April to the 1<sup>st<\/sup> of May 2015 the Kick off Meeting between the partners of the project <strong>BOEMI <\/strong><strong>\u2013 Building our employment skills through Music Investigations and new media<\/strong> has been held in Palermo<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">BOEMI is an innovative project &#8211; co-founded by the European Commission within the Erasmus + Program, KA2: Capacity Building on the field of youth and coordinated by Centro per lo Sviluppo Creativo \u201cDanilo Dolci\u201d &#8211; that is addressed to youth workers and youngsters with fewer opportunities. The project aims to promote their competences and skills and to foster the active participation in their local communities through music, new media and innovative non-formal methodologies &#8211; like Danilo Dolci\u2019s Reciprocal Maieutic Approach &#8211; as tools for youth development and more specifically to raise employability skills of over 270 youngsters from 2 continents<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In fact, BOEMI involves 5 partners from 2 different continents: from Europe (Centro per lo Sviluppo<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Creativo \u201cDanilo Dolci\u201d, Italy; Crossing Borders, Denmark; Pandora, Spain) and from Africa (IYEC, Ghana; Gno Far, Senegal). During the Kick Off Meeting in Palermo, 3 representatives from each organization (among them, musicians, youth workers with musical background, youngsters interested in music and new media and PMs working on the themes of social inclusion) were gathered together to analyze the project\u2019s topic and discuss about the activities\u2019 planning as well as tasks and roles each one has to cover as well as the next steps to be taken.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Each partner will select a local working group that will carry out a research on traditional local music, collecting traditional songs that will be recorded and cataloged on the music platform of the project.
