{"id":10096,"date":"2015-08-26T09:38:35","date_gmt":"2015-08-26T07:38:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/?p=3028"},"modified":"2015-08-26T09:38:35","modified_gmt":"2015-08-26T07:38:35","slug":"amnesty-human-chain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/en\/events\/amnesty-human-chain\/","title":{"rendered":"CSC supports the Amnesty\u2019s Human Chain for peace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/media\/sites\/5\/header-dolomiti.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-3029\" src=\"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/media\/sites\/5\/header-dolomiti-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"header-dolomiti\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a>Centro per lo Sviluppo Creativo \u201cDanilo Dolci\u201d supports the event called <strong><em>The Dolomites Embrace Human Rights<\/em> <\/strong>organised by associations <a href=\"http:\/\/www.365giorni.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Insieme si pu\u00f2<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amnesty.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">Amnesty International<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ArtforAmnesty\" target=\"_blank\">Art for Amnesty<\/a> in collaboration with the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.comune.auronzo.bl.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">Municipality of Auronzo di Cadore<\/a> (Belluno) and the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/auronzomisurina.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tourist Consortium \u201cTre Cime Dolomiti\u201d<\/a>.\u00a0The event will take place on <strong>Sunday 13<sup>th<\/sup> September 2015<\/strong> at 12 o\u2019clock in the evocative landscape of the <strong>Tre Cime di Lavaredo<\/strong> in the Dolomites.<\/p>\n<p>A human chain of 6,000 persons \u2013 divided into 10 sections, each named as those countries where injustices still happen \u2013 to ask for protection for every human being all over the world. This \u201cembrace\u201d represents an invitation in order to <strong>break the indifference<\/strong> and give an active contribution to the build of a new world where peace, freedom and justice may reign.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Dolomites Embrace Human Rights <\/em>is aimed to make people aware about <strong>human rights<\/strong> that are still denied in more countries all over the world. Events like this try to encourage governments and institution to take action against the violation of human rights. International cooperation could give an important contribution for improving this alarming situation.<\/p>\n<p>It is necessary to <strong>educate each person<\/strong> on the fundamentals of human rights, especially in schools. Education is indeed directed towards understanding, tolerance and friendship between all people, ethnicities and religions.
