{"id":10120,"date":"2016-09-08T15:45:56","date_gmt":"2016-09-08T13:45:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/?p=3422"},"modified":"2016-09-08T15:45:56","modified_gmt":"2016-09-08T13:45:56","slug":"pgds-traguardi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/en\/education\/pgds-traguardi\/","title":{"rendered":"Parco Giochi delle Scienze: all the achievements of the project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/media\/sites\/5\/Concorso-idee-web.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-3423\" src=\"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/media\/sites\/5\/Concorso-idee-web-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Concorso-idee-web\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>The project <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esperienzeconilsud.it\/parcogiochidellescienze\/\">Parco Giochi delle Scienze<\/a> was concluded on June 30th, thanks to the cofinancing of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fondazioneconilsud.it\/\">Fondazione con il Sud<\/a> and the collaboration between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ALI-Ambiente-Legalit%C3%A0-Intercultura-513487172069143\/\">A.L.I.<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/danilodolci.org\/\">Centro per lo Sviluppo Creativo \u201cDanilo Dolci\u201d<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technorama.ch\/it\/\">Technorama di Zurigo<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/planetariovillafilippina.com\/\">Urania<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cstf.it\/\">Centro Siciliano di Terapia della Famiglia<\/a>, and the schools <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rutellipa.it\/\">High School \u201cMario Rutelli\u201d<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.icvittorioemanueleterzo.gov.it\/\">Comprehensive School \u201cVittorio Emanuele III\u201d<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.icspestalozzi-cavour.it\/\">Comprehensive School \u201cPestalozzi \u2013 Cavour<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The experts of the associations have realized various and relevant activities in the schools and their collaborative network led to results which satisfied all those who were involved in this precious journey.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Experts of the <a href=\"http:\/\/danilodolci.org\/\">Centro per lo Sviluppo Creativo \u201cDanilo Dolci\u201d<\/a> have realized the activities of <strong>reciprocal maieutic<\/strong> and <strong>creative<\/strong> <strong>thinking, <\/strong>involving a total of 18 classes within the Comprehensive School \u201cVittorio Emanuele III\u201d and Comprehensive School \u201cPestalozzi \u2013 Cavour\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Thanks to the Socratic approach of Danilo Dolci, teachers and students, together with experts, have shared and experienced the <strong>enhancement of the inner potential<\/strong> of students, increasing the sense of belonging to the class. The creative thinking techniques have consolidated in a fun and dynamic way the knowledge of students on the seven scientific themes analyzed in the project: Astronomy, Waves, Geology, Perception, Electricity and Magnetism, Light and Colours, Mechanics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The activities have allowed the students to approach with curiosity and enthusiasm scientific areas such as the Garden and the Museum of Tore the Inventor, supporting the introduction of the exhibits within the teaching.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Experts of <a href=\"https:\/\/planetariovillafilippina.com\/\">Urania<\/a> have realized their activities at Comprehensive School \u201cVittorio Emanuele III\u201d, Comprehensive School \u201cPestalozzi \u2013 Cavour\u201d and Planetarium of Villa Filippina, in Palermo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The starting point was the visit from students to the exhibits of Astronomy, Geology, Earth Science of the Tore the Inventor museum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Following this with the support of Urania experts and teachers, the students made small scientific instruments, used telescopes for observations of the Sun and participated in workshops dedicated to the study of rocks and minerals, with observations and projections under a microscope.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In this way, students have continued the activities at the Museum and Planetarium, where they attended the lessons under the dome of the planetarium and visited the rooms of the museum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cstf.it\/\">Centro Siciliano di Terapia della Famiglia<\/a>, has activated a <strong>listening service<\/strong> for students, parents and teachers in the three complexes of each school in the network: High School \u201cMario Rutelli\u201d, Comprehensive School \u201cVittorio Emanuele III\u201d, Comprehensive School \u201cPestalozzi \u2013 Cavour\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Experts, referents of the service, have offered their professionality by welcoming the students through active listening and direct involvement of the teaching staff and parents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The promotion of the service within the three schools, the meetings with teachers and the presentation of the service to the families, have allowed a constant communication between everyone involved, supporting the usefulness of the activated service and supporting students with further difficulties. This has allowed them to have a <strong>new vision of the school <\/strong>and to feel it also as a safe and familiar place where they can receive support.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The experts of the lead partner association <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ALI-Ambiente-Legalit%C3%A0-Intercultura-513487172069143\/\">A.L.I.<\/a> have led the students of the High School \u201cMario Rutelli\u201d making them the protagonists of the creation and experimentation of scientific paths of the city territory provided by the project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Over the course of the journey, it was possible to better understand and strengthen the skills of students in <strong>promotion activities<\/strong>, which have realized tours and promotional videos, aimed at valorizing the Museum and the Garden of Tore the Inventor and other precious works created thanks to project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The students of the 26 classes involved, in addition to realizing scientific models and experiments, have offered their knowledge on marketing and have realized studies for the creation of a <strong>Scientific Tourist Itinerary connecting the two scientific spaces and other places of citizen relief, <\/strong>in order to direct visitors of all ages to discover science through fun.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The students at the three branches of the school \u201cMario Rutelli\u201d (High School of Science, Department of Surveyor and School of Tourism) were also involved in a <strong>contest of ideas<\/strong> that saw them engage in the creation of &#8220;mini-exhibits&#8221; and audio-visual products.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Experts of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technorama.ch\/it\/\">Technorama <\/a>\u00a0museum have led <strong>activities and workshops<\/strong> on the seven scientific themes of the project, directed at teachers of the three institutions. The first training events were held in Palermo, in collaboration with experts A.L.I. and Urania, the last one took place in late April 2016 directly in Zurich within the striking Science Center.
