\"Reinforcing<\/a>What is \u201csecond chance school\u201d? How they support \u201cchildren on the move\u201d in their educational path? On which aspects we need to work in order to train effectively teachers and educators working with this target?<\/p>\n

During the last months, partners carried out an in-depth research on several fronts to understand what is the situation related to the inclusion of migrants minors in the educational second chance programs and to investigate what the needs of teachers and educators working in this field are.<\/p>\n

The analysis has been carried out through different tools: in addition to a desk research in each country about the state of art related to this field, more than 25 experts of second chance education and prevention of early school leaving have been interviewed. Moreover, in each partner country, focus groups have been organized, with a total of around 50 educators and teachers and the opinion of other 250 of them have been analyzed through online questionnaires.<\/p>\n

Starting from this basis and with particular attention to the needs emerged from the analysis, the partners, supported by expert trainers, have started to work on the draft of an integrated learning methodology that ensures active learning, coaching and support to develop the competences of educators, addressing their real needs.<\/p>\n

Main aim of the project is, indeed, to favor the integration of \u201cchildren on the move\u201d and to prevent their early school leaving by strengthening\u00a0 the personal, social, technical and methodological competences of educators, developing effective tools to work with students with migrational background and address their specific learning needs.<\/p>\n

To do that, partners will work in the following months to the elaboration of a new learning methodology which will be implemented through training days with around 500 educators and teachers of second chance program in 5 partner countries.<\/p>\n
