{"id":10168,"date":"2017-12-06T15:07:00","date_gmt":"2017-12-06T14:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/?p=3927"},"modified":"2022-03-13T11:50:37","modified_gmt":"2022-03-13T10:50:37","slug":"steer-neets-final-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/en\/news\/steer-neets-final-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Supporting NEETs: Final conference of the STEER project in Nicosia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3929\" src=\"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/media\/sites\/5\/steer-neets-final-conference.jpg\" alt=\"Supporting NEETs: Final conference of the STEER project in Nicosia\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/>How to support the <strong>young NEETs<\/strong> in the <strong>transition from school to the job world<\/strong>?<\/p>\n<p>The partners met for the final conference of the <a href=\"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/en\/project\/steer\/\">STEER project &#8211; Supporting the Transition from Education to Youth at Risk<\/a> &#8211; on the <strong>29<sup>th<\/sup> November 2017<\/strong> at the Classic Hotel in Nicosia (Cyprus) to present the results of the project.<\/p>\n<p>We presented all the <strong>IOs<\/strong> of the project so far created, in particular the partners showed the work done at <strong>local level <\/strong>with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the <strong>training of the youth workers<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>the launch of the <strong>platform<\/strong> and its piloting thanks to the meetings with NEETs in all participating countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The conference in Nicosia was also an opportunity to organise the <strong>last consortium partner meeting <\/strong>during which the last phases of the project were outlined, including <strong>final reporting<\/strong> and the <strong>last piloting validation tasks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The STEER project was eventually extended by two months to allow partners to give more effectiveness to the project promotion actions and to complete IO7.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/en\/project\/steer\/\">STEER<\/a> is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, DG Education and Culture, KA2 Strategic Partnerships for Youth, aiming at <strong>designing, developing, distributing and testing a comprehensive training program <\/strong>for those working with young people to plan their transition to the world of work.
