{"id":10175,"date":"2018-03-06T17:10:06","date_gmt":"2018-03-06T16:10:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/?p=4015"},"modified":"2022-03-13T11:48:23","modified_gmt":"2022-03-13T10:48:23","slug":"new-chapter-good-practices-against-hate-speech","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/en\/news\/new-chapter-good-practices-against-hate-speech\/","title":{"rendered":"NEw CHapter: Exchanging good practices against hate speech!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-4018\" src=\"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/media\/sites\/5\/new-chapter-good-practices-against-hate-speech.jpg\" alt=\"NEw CHapter: Exchange good practices to contrast hate speech!\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/>How to favor <strong>human rights among young people<\/strong>?<\/p>\n<p>How to <strong>face hate speech<\/strong> and <strong>promote critical thinking<\/strong>?<\/p>\n<p>From 16th to 22nd February 2018 the <a href=\"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/en\/news\/new-chapter-network-cooperation\/\">NEw CHapter<\/a> project <strong>staff training<\/strong> took place in Larissa (Greece).<\/p>\n<p><strong>28 participants<\/strong>\u00a0among youth workers, teachers, members of organizations <strong>from Greece, Italy, UK and Denmark\u00a0<\/strong>attended the training.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youthnet.gr\/\">Youthnet Hellas<\/a> organized and conducted the staff training aiming at bringing together representatives of partner organizations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to <strong>exchange good practices and methods to fight hate speech, discrimination<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>to plan and organize follow-up activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Due to the complicated nature of the problems faced by the project &#8211; \u00a0such as fighting hate speech, discrimination, segregation and social exclusion among young people &#8211; , during the training we used a variety of methodologies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>non-formal and informal learning,<\/li>\n<li>cross-sectoral synergy,<\/li>\n<li>networking activities,<\/li>\n<li>best-practice knowledge management methodology,<\/li>\n<li>creative and critical thinking and human rights education methodology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thanks to the active involvement of the participants, the training was an opportunity for us to <strong>widely exchange experiences and organizations realities<\/strong>, which contributed to enriching the meetings of <strong>challenges, ideas, different points of view<\/strong> on the issue.<\/p>\n<p>We also selected and shared best practices with a special focus on the ones that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>reach out to marginalized young people or those at risk of social exclusion,<\/li>\n<li>promote intercultural dialogue and acceptance of diversity to prevent racism and intolerance among young people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/en\/news\/new-chapter-network-cooperation\/\">NEw CHapter\u00a0&#8211; NEtwork of Cooperation against Hate<\/a> is a 15-month, 4-country Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership project, which includes 7 partners ranging from educational institutions to youth organizations, to ensure the cross-sectorial aim of the project:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youthnet.gr\/\">Youthnet Hellas<\/a>(Greece, coordinator);<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ysrnetwork.weebly.com\/\">YOUTH SOCIAL RIGHTS NETWORK<\/a>(Denmark);<\/li>\n<li><u>KOINOFELIS EPICHEIRISI IPIRESION DIMOY NEAPOLIS-SYKEON \u2013 K.E.Y.N.S<\/u> (Greece);<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/lyk-gouvon.ira.sch.gr\/\">GENIKO LYKEIO GOUVON<\/a>(Greece);<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/10dim-sykeon.thess.sch.gr\/joomla3\/\">10th Primary School of Sykies<\/a>(Greece);<\/li>\n<li><u>Centro per lo Sviluppo Creativo Danilo Dolci<\/u> (Italy).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For further information, please contact Irene Ippolito, <a href=\"mailto:irene.ippolito@danilodolci.org\">irene.ippolito@danilodolci.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From 16th to 22nd February, 28 participants\u00a0among youth workers, teachers, members of organizations from Greece, Italy, UK and Denmark\u00a0attended the NEw CHapter project staff training in Larissa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":23,"featured_media":10547,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[214],"tags":[900],"recensione":[],"target":[],"tema-centenario":[],"class_list":["post-10175","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-new-chapter"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v27.6 (Yoast SEO v28.4) - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-premium-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>NEw CHapter: Exchanging good practices against hate speech!
