On the 26th and 27th of October, the partners of the E-DESIGN project met for their final meeting in Nicosia, Cyprus. Luckily, the final meeting could be organised face-to-face and thus gave a change to all partners to conclude the project together, including a final dinner. The meeting was attended by both project managers and trainers of the E-DESIGN courses, making this meeting productive and satisfying for all attendees.

Taking advantage of the people present, much of the meeting time was dedicated to groupwork on some final tasks. These tasks used to take much effort and time online, but could be finished quickly when done in groups at the spot. All the trainer handouts and task sheets that will help teachers and volunteers to implement ICT courses in the future, have been finished. Furthermore, in small groups, all parts of the handbook, the final outcome of the project, were readthrough again and finalized. Finally, the partners also brainstormed about the final conference, that will take place in each partner counter between the end of November and half of December, making sure that participants of the local final conference will have an informative and interesting experience.

So what is left? After the return of the project partners to their respective countries, there are only two more main tasks to be completed: the handbook and the final conferences.

For the handbook and other resources, they will be published soon in English and in the other languages. You will find them on the project website and the dedicated page on the website of CSC Danilo Dolci. Stay tuned!
