On the 20th and 21st of July, the partners of the TANDEM project have come together in Berlin to reflect together on the project’s impact, on personal, organizational and societal level.

Hosted by the German partner of the project, Iberika, the members of the project team could finally meet in person.

The meeting was held almost at the end of the project’s lifetime. This meant that most of the work was already done beforehand, and the partners could take the time of the meeting to reflect together on the projects’ impact as well as personal development. The external evaluator of the project was also present during the meeting, underlining from his point of view the strengths and weaknesses of the project. During the meeting the partners expressed their gratitude for the teamwork, the attention to detail, and the good working environment. They also reflected together on how they could best exploit the TANDEM results in the future.

In the 34 months of implementation, the TANDEM project has gone through many phases. Right after it started, the pandemic has forced the project members to rethink activities in an online form, doing interviews, roundtables and whole courses online. This has certainly challenged the creative thinking ability of the project partners, but nevertheless, partners have shown resilience and endurance, always looking for new opportunities and ways to adapt the resources to the target groups. The results are 5 high-quality outputs that remain available on the project website and many migrant and local adults who have participated in the different project activities, and who have learned new opportunities, languages and cultures.

For all the results, please have a look at the projects’ website or here. Instead to see how the project has been implemented in each partner country throughout the year, please have a look at the Facebook page.
