Free or paid services, those that are offered by the state, region, city, school, university, association, psychological support services, psychologist, psychotherapist&#8230; How to choose and how to access them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The research done on national level for the <a href=\"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/en\/project\/letstalk\/\">LETsTALK project<\/a><\/strong> reveals that in Italy, mental health services for young people need to be improved, and that<strong> accessibility to mental health services should be guaranteed <\/strong>to all young people in the same way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Free services offered by health facilities, schools and universities must:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure the continuity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be advertised better.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offer also service online or by phone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Ensure privacy and professionalism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Young people need to<strong> be heard, understood, to have the opportunity to ask for and to receive help without being stigmatized<\/strong>. Anyone working with young people should be ready to help them or direct them to where they can seek help, and for this reason youth workers should be better prepared, doing <strong>specific trainings<\/strong> so they can be able to address these issues with the young people they work with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is also evident that we need to <strong>talk more about mental health<\/strong>, starting with public venues, schools, raising awareness of mental health and how important it is to talk about it.
