{"id":2106,"date":"2014-06-12T13:05:43","date_gmt":"2014-06-12T11:05:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/?p=2106"},"modified":"2014-06-12T13:05:43","modified_gmt":"2014-06-12T11:05:43","slug":"carem-art-rights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/en\/education\/carem-art-rights\/","title":{"rendered":"CAREM: collaborative art making for children rights and conflicts resolution"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/media\/sites\/5\/2014\/06\/CAREM-Arte-collaborativa-e-risoluzione-dei-conflitti-i-diritti-dei-bambini.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2107 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/en.danilodolci.org\/media\/sites\/5\/2014\/06\/CAREM-Arte-collaborativa-e-risoluzione-dei-conflitti-i-diritti-dei-bambini-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"CAREM - Arte collaborativa e risoluzione dei conflitti i diritti dei bambini\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>The implementation of the CAREM project activities ended on the 30<sup>th<\/sup> of May 2014 in three schools, two in Partinico \u2013 in the province of Palermo (Third Didactic Circle Maggiore Guida and its branch Mirto), and one in Palermo, Ubuntu, an association for migrant children in Palermo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Financed by the European Commission funds in the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme under the Comenius action, the CAREM project (Collaborative Art Making for Reducing Marginalization) was thought as a non-formal education source of collaborative art, aimed to reduce social exclusion, to encounter with difference and foster active and democratic citizenship. Indeed, these are the three pools of activities, consisting of nine activities, for 45 activities in total presented by the CAREM project partnership \u2013 University of Nicosia (Cyprus), Universal Learning System (Ireland), ESTA Bildungswerk (Germany), Centre for Creative Development \u201cDanilo Dolci\u201d (Italy) and Platon Schools (Greece).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Nine collaborative art making activities were implemented by Centre for Creative Development \u201cDanilo Dolci\u201d, in collaboration with the teachers who took part in the project. Each activity was focused on the reduction of marginalization, on the encounter with difference and democratic citizenship.
