Description of the project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The main objective of the project EDI Go is to support youth organizations working with young people through the strengthening and improvement of internal good practices promoting equity, diversity and inclusivity (EDI practices). Indeed, the experts working with young people not often have the opportunity to review the inclusive practices within their organizations so that diverse people, experiences and voices could be effectively included in all aspects of their organization. This is the gap the project wants to fill and this will be done by creating recommendations and concrete steps for organizations to integrate EDI framework on the organization level that would prevent \u2013 and if needed overcome \u2013 different barriers young people face due disabilities, health problems, barriers linked to education and training systems, cultural differences, social barriers, economic barriers, barriers linked to discrimination and geographical barriers. By implementing this project, partners would have the resources and materials to support different types of organizations to evaluate and integrate a systematic approach to EDI practices within 6 dimensions of the organization: vision\/ethos\/mission, governance\/leadership, physical building capacity\/online presence, staff professional development, and community and partnerships. Partners with youth workers organization will review the EDI practices in their direct work with young people within curriculum\/teaching, training and learning, and identify the practices that they could improve and\/or add and support them in implementing those changes in the sustainable way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The target groups of the project are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
