Description of the project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The MEDART project is focused on the creation of a methodical guide for education of socially disadvantaged adults by using theatre and drama-therapeutical<\/em> approaches and techniques. MEDART aims at creating and using theatrical practices, techniques and methods, which will help to dramatically increase disadvantaged adults\u00b4 chances of employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Non-formal and informal education of socially disadvantaged adults included in drama therapeutical work can be used for acquisition, extension, training and empowerment of skills and competences to can increase adult learners’ employability. The training will mostly be focused on social skills as self-knowledge, self-appraisal, self-confidence, communication skills, empathy, assertiveness, giving and receiving feedback, cooperation, decision making, conflict management and problem solving abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result of the project will be an Open Educational Resource \u2013 a Methodical guide addressed at teachers, educators, trainers, drama therapists, social workers, students, schools, universities, institutions, NGOs and to everyone, who is interested in the work with social disadvantaged people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
