How can we transform experiences and collaborations into pathways capable of generating a lasting impact?
After 18 months of activity, HumanityHub is drawing to a close a programme designed to promote the social and economic participation of Ukrainian refugees in Italy, starting from their needs and the challenges that may hinder their inclusion. These include linguistic and cultural barriers, a lack of social support networks, and conditions of vulnerability linked to conflict and displacement.
To address these needs, HumanityHub has adopted an integrated approach combining psychosocial support, cultural orientation, entrepreneurial training, business development support and the creation of peer networks, whilst drawing on the skills and resources of those involved.
As this experience draws to a close, we feel the need to create a space for dialogue with organisations, professionals and individuals who, from different perspectives, are active in the local area in support of migrant, refugee and asylum-seeking communities.
During the round-table discussion, we will bring together the experiences gained within HumanityHub with those of the organisations present, in order to share practices, approaches and tools.
We will discuss what has worked, the unmet needs and how to ensure the long-term continuity of the practices developed, whilst also reflecting on the role of local networks, the potential for collaboration between different organisations and the synergies that can help make inclusion pathways more sustainable.

HumanityHub – Where Cultural Inclusion Meets Economic Empowerment is a project funded by ESF+ Social Innovation+ (an initiative aimed at mitigating the societal consequences of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine).
