ALICE: Biographic storytelling and pro-social measure to favor scholastic inclusionIs it possible to promote scholastic inclusion through biografic storytelling?

The general purpose of the project ALICE: Adapting Learning in Inclusive Communities and Environment is to upscale, assess the relevance, effectiveness, impact and scalability, and disseminate in a broader European context, an approach based on Prosociality.

ALICE project intends to experiment educative and social pedagogic practices related to the application of pro-social measures aiming at involving local communities in the promotion of social inclusion of students of secondary schools, which have been selected among different EU Countries.

The challenge of the project is also experimenting an approach based on the biographic narration of students, given the importance of storytelling with reference to cognitive and emotional insight that can lead to accept or refuse diversity. The project intends to establish a Network of local educating communities at EU level for promoting social inclusion, for combating discrimination and for exchanging experiences.

Among the activities of the project:

  • Analisys of the status quo and of the strategic perspectives of Prosociality;
  • Realization of the National and European Biographic Report;
  • Creation of the Educating Community scheme;
  • Trainign of trainers-Teachers and parents.

With the Pro- Save Social Approach, we expect active participation among secondary school students and their parents: after the implementation phase, they will acquire new emotional skills and be more open to developing positive interpersonal relationships.

ALICE lasts 2 years and funded by Erasmus+ Programme, KA3 – Support for Policy Reform.

On 13th and 14th March 2018, the CSC Danilo Dolci hast hosted the Kick-off Meeting of the project during which all partners had the chance to go through major technical points of the project, apart from administrative and financial rules required for a KA3 project.

The project partnership consists of six organizations around Europe:
