Looking for new staff? Have you ever thought about hiring a person with a disability?
In the third Be Inclusive! project newsletter, you will find stories from people with disabilities and their employers, documenting their journey into employment. The 12 stories, collected during the course of the project, are available on Facebook and Linkedin.
The main objective of the project is to develop and support approaches on how to improve the participation of people with disabilities in working life. The project partners developed educational videos in the form of microlearning demonstrating various aspects of the inclusion of people with disabilities in SMEs. The next result provides in-depth learning opportunities for employment trainers that can be used or implemented to motivate potential SME employers to employ people with disabilities. To finalise this and define the next steps the project partners met in Riga on 13th-14th May.
Within the Be inclusive! project, fact sheets have been developed to explore specific issues – from recruitment to actual employment – to share with both employers and staff in SMEs.
We invite you to consult the brochure “People with disabilities in the labour market: placement, inclusion and sustainable employment in SMEs”: the goal is to foster SMEs’ motivation to employ people with disabilities, to deliver essential information, to support sustainable integration into the labor market.
Follow us on Facebook and Linkedin for updates on videos and other results.
Be inclusive! – How Inclusion of people with disabilities works in SMEs – learning resources for job placement and employment is a project funded by the ERASMUS+KA Programme: Cooperation between organisations and institutions which aims to develop and support approaches on how to improve the participation of people with disabilities in working life.
