Dear Dario,
Today we say goodbye to you with pain and sorrow in our hearts, but also with wonderful memories of you and of what you left us in our minds.
In all these years we have walked together, you have gifted us with an incredible energy. Your unique way of welcoming people and being there for them revealed uncommon humanity and a light-heartedness capable of tearing down every barrier and making everyone feel at home.
It was you who welcomed all the newcomers and it was always you who put them at ease and drew them into our community.
Your unwavering determination in making our world a fairer and more inclusive place, where beauty can flourish, and your profound love for life, still remain a valuable lesson for us. We like to think that your passion for art, theatre and music will continue resonate with the same intensity in our collective memory and in the hearts of all the people that were lucky enough to meet you.
We send our warmest thoughts to Rosina, your family and everyone who loves you.

The funeral will take place on Friday, July, 31, at 12.20 p.m., at the Chiesa Madre in San Giuseppe Jato, Palermo.
