The Centre for Creative Development “Danilo Dolci” created a promotional video to disseminate the final products of the SAMIN project.
SAMIN-Supporting VET by approaching ethnic minorities is a Transfer of Innovation project funded by the European Commission in the framework of LLP Leonardo da Vinci.
The necessity of the project is rooted in the discriminatory processes existing in VET and, more broadly, in the labour market of several EU Member States. These practices prevent not only a deep integration of migrants and a full recognition of their skills, but also the opportunity of accessing the labour market.
In a historic moment like the one we are living, where migration becomes a humanitarian emergency, the SAMIN project is extremely topical and can offer ideas and solutions to those organizations working for the integration of migrants into the labor market.
The video contains the main elements of the project and its final products, and an interview with an expert who works in the field of supporting families with a migrant background in Sicily.
If you like the SAMIN video, please share it and disseminate the project final products. The project will end in December 2015.
