Continuano gli eventi realizzati nell’ambito della manifestazione “Mesi delle arti di Borgo di Dio”. A settembre sarà Nello Costa, artista poliedrico, a presentare la sua opera dal titolo “Attraversando l’arte”. L’opera è un’installazione composta da una cornice di specchi, che vuole essere un portale d’ingresso ad un’esperienza sensoriale che racchiude l’essenza del luogo. Parte integrante dell’opera è l’installazione sonora “Paesaggio sonoro”, a cura della cattedra di Musica elettronica del Conservatorio “V. Bellini” di Palermo.
Si terrà infatti, nelle giornate del 6 e 7 settembre, presso il centro storico di Trappeto, la rassegna di arte e cultura dal titolo “Dolci Note”. La partnership del progetto “Borgo di Dio” ha creduto fosse coerente con le finalità del progetto stesso, sponsorizzare l’opera di un’artista locale all’interno di una kermesse che valorizzerà anche tanti altri artisti, emergenti e non, ma sempre legati in qualche modo al territorio di riferimento. In linea con i principi di turismo sostenibile e di cittadinanza attiva promossi dalla rassegna Dolci Note.
Dolci Note è un’iniziativa culturale di valorizzazione del territorio di Trappeto e dintorni, volta all’incentivazione del turismo attivo, capace di migliorare l’attrattività turistica del luogo, e al coinvolgimento dei giovani, come veri protagonisti della propria territorialità. L’iniziativa Dolci Note recupera il passato per affermare un nuovo modello di sviluppo, cercando di rintracciare gli esempi positivi, quelle “orme”, che hanno saputo, in modo concreto, cambiare storie e destini, e reso più belli, più a “misura d’uomo”, più civili, i nostri “luoghi”. Per queste ragioni, la rassegna riprende l’insegnamento di un educatore, sociologo, pacifista, narratore e poeta, come Danilo Dolci.

The activities organised within the event “Months of the arts of Borgo di Dio” are still going on. In September, Nello Costa, a versatile artist, will present his work, titled “Crossing arts”. The work is an installation made up of a mirror frame, as a gate leading to a sensorial experience including the essence of the place. Another integral part of the work is the sound installation “Soundscape”, crafted by the Department for electronic music of the Conservatory “V. Bellini” of Palermo.
On September 6th and 7th, at the historical center of Trappeto, the arts and culture festival titled “Sweet Notes” will take place. The partnership of the project “Borgo di Dio”, in compliance with the project aims, intended to advertise the work of a local artist within a festival that will enhance the work of many other new and professional artists, linked in any way to the territory. In line with the principles of sustainable tourism and active citizenship promoted by the festival “Sweet Notes”.
Sweet Notes is a cultural initiative to enhance Trappeto and its neighborhoods, aiming at boosting active tourism, able to improve the tourist attractiveness of this area, and at involving young people, as the real protagonists of their territoriality. The initiative “Sweet Notes” looks at the past to establish a new model for development, trying to retrace the positive examples, the “steps” that concretely changed history and destiny and made our “places” nicer, more “human-sized” and civil. For these reasons, this festival starts from the lesson of an educator, sociologist, pacifist, storyteller and poet as Danilo Dolci.
