Center for Creative DEvelopment Danilo Dolci will organize on Saturday February 15th, 2014 the press conference for results dissemination of the project SUSTAIN- Education to Sustainable Development in nursery and primary schools.
The SUSTAIN press conference will start at 11.30 a.m. at “Istituto Comprensivo Danilo Dolci” of Trappeto (Palermo) Via Fiume N°1. It will be realized in the framework of the event “Il Borgo dei bambini – Children’s borgo” of the project “Borgo di Dio”, co-funded by the association “Fondazione con il Sud”.
The SUSTAIN project, co-funded by European Commission within the Comenius – LLP programme, has been developed by 4 partner countries (Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy). The “Centro per lo Sviluppo Creativo Danilo Dolci”, Italian responsible for the project, realized, at local level, some workshops, training courses and class experiments. Furthermore, it contributed to the development of good practices in order to improve the teachers’ skills regarding Education to sustainable development and to foster the exchange of educational experiences at European level.
The event will be an opportunity to promote the good practices and the educational tools for Education to Sustainable Development built up within the project and to facilitate their application in new educational contexts.
