The EDI practice improvement training course

Oct 10, 2024News

The aim of EDI Go is to support youth organisations through the strengthening and improvement of good internal practices that promote equality, diversity and inclusiveness (EDI practices). Experienced people working with young people do not often have the opportunity to review inclusive practices within their organisations, so that different people, experiences and voices can be effectively included in all aspects of their organisation (‘whole organisational approach’).

By participating in the training course to strengthen and improve internal good practices (EDI practices), the 10 youth workers acquired the new skills. The course was held in Palermo at the end of September and through the programme created within the EDI GO project divided into 5 modules gave the opportunity to improve good practices within organisations.

All material is available on the project platform and consists of Curricula available in English and training materials and resources developed in Italian, Greek, Spanish, French and Croatian.

The programme is divided into five modules:

  • Module 1: Governance/leadership guidelines training
  • Module 2: Training on building and space design guidelines
  • Module 3: Attitudes and relationships training from an EDI perspective Guidelines
  • Module 4: Community and partnership from an EDI perspective Guidelines – Module 5: Training on direct work with young people from an EDI perspective Guidelines
