In an ever-changing world of technology, keeping up can be a challenge, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Thanks to LEVEL UP, a group of participants had the opportunity to attend a free course on using Google tools, which proved to be a success.
The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the technology transition, putting a strain on individuals and European SMEs. The LEVEL UP project was created to support this transition, offering free training on key digital skills, such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, programming and 3D printing, as well as advanced use of Office and Google packages.
A training on Google Suite and its tools was held on June 5 and 7, 2024. The training participants were able to improve their use of Google Documents and Google Sheets, and most (94%) rated the course positively in terms of content, clarity, and organization. The feedback received indicates that the course was successful in intriguing participants and encouraging them to participate in more digital trainings.
“It [the course] helped me and caught my interest. I would like to know more about this kind of digital tools”.
In an environment of rapid technological advances, acquiring new digital skills is essential: SMEs that invest in training are the ones that manage to stay competitive. Offering free digital training on these topics is not only an opportunity, but also a necessity for those who want to evolve and improve their business.
