What is a life worth living? Life Worth Living was born from the idea that there is no professional development without inner growth. The main goal of the project is to increase the well-being of teachers and principals by raising awareness of the meaning of life.
On the 4th of September, coordinated by North Consulting (IS), representatives from University of Iceland (IS), CSC Danilo Dolci (IT), National Management School (BG), Djapo (BL), Blue Room Innovation (SP) and KMOP (GR) have met in Bulgaria in the lovely mountainy area of Bansko to get to know each other face to face and start a shared reflection.
The Transnational Partner Meeting of the project Life Worth Living has been a fruitful moment to stop and think about the real meaning that the project has for each of the partner involved and to clarify roles and methods that each can bring as expertise.
Also, being the project very ambitious in going in deep in many of important and essential life questions with the main target participants of teachers and school directors, the partners have brainstormed the kind of objectives and the means to reach them in order to create the most beautiful impact with and for the people who will be involved in this path of learning and of both self- and group-analysis.
During the meeting a lot of space has been given to the planning of the national and international retreats, that will be the core of the implementation of the project: each partner organization will plan two 2-days retreats with 15 participants each where to address the life questions of the project, one per country in the months of January/February and one per country in the month of April, followed by an international 2-days retreat in Belgium in October ’24 where all the 75 participants will meet.
It has been very interesting, enriching and a good base for all the upcoming months working together as an international group.
