Kick off meeting CAREMBetween 6th-9th of March the kick-off meeting of the Comenius Multilateral Project CAREM took place in the Greek city of Katerini, in Central Macedonia. Within the dynamic educational context of the school Platon (the Greek partner of the project), the CAREM team worked for two days to set both contents and future steps of the project.

During the meeting, they also defined the specific goals related to the three intervention areas of the project: Encounters with Difference, Marginalization Reduction and Promoting Democratic European Citizenship in the school curricula.

In the next months, until the end of June 2013, each partner will be working on new educational activities based on Collaborative art making and related to the three thematic areas of the project.

The suggested activities will be eventually tested and adapted in each of the five partner countries, with the collaboration of students and teachers of the local primary and lower secondary school, which will be actively involved in the project.

The next meeting of the CAREM project will be held in Dublin, from the 9th – 13th  of October.
