52 years ago, on the 27th February 1963, after tens of mobilisations by Danilo Dolci and his collaborators, the building works of a dam on the Jato River began. Together with the Democratic Consortium who managed water, it became one of the symbols of the fighting for rights and justice in western Sicily.
On the 2th February 1956 Danilo Dolci was arrested while guiding a group of laborers working in an abandoned road nearby Partinico. 59 years later, we want to remind this strike in reverse through the words in the preamble of the book Trial to the Article 4, republished by Sellerio in 2011.
